Unveiling the Light of Truth:
“The Comforter”
We Begin All Things with
the Illustrious Names (99+1) of Allah,
He (Allah) is the
Most Yielding in His Grace and Mercy.
I Bear Witness that
absolutely nothing Creates but Allah,
and Muhammad is His
Apostle and was sent by him.
We give thanks and praise to Allah
for guiding us to the Religion or Millat of our father Ibrahim (Abraham)
and our father Adam and for sending down the revelation on the Night of Power (AI-Lailatul
Qadri). We also give thanks to Allah for sending the great Law giving
Prophets Musa (Moses) and. Muhammad (Ahmad) who brought with them
the Furqan or the Criteria by which all things should be judged. We know that
An-Nabi (The Prophet) Musa foretold of one coming who would be like him and
that the Scepter would not pass until he came (At-Torah (First Five Books of
Musa) Genesis 49: 10 "The Scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor
a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to him shall be the
obedience of the people.” Then again
Allah tells Musa of one coming from his brethren: "I will raise up from
them a Prophet like unto you from among their brethren, and will put my words
in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command him. And it shall
be that whoever will not hear my words, which he speaks In my name, I (Allah)
will require it of him."
Then it was also reported by John
the Son of Zebedee in The Book of John 16:13 that Isa Al-Masih (Jesus the
Messiah) said "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He
wi11 guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own Authority, but
whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. Also
in the Acts of the Companions (Sahaba)
of Prophet Isa ibn Maryam we are told in Acts.3: 21-25
"Heaven must receive until the times of restitution
things, which Allah hath spoken by. the mouth of all his Prophets since the
world began. For Musa truly said to the fathers, 'The Sustainer your Creator
will raise a prophet 1ike me (Musa) from your brethren. Him you shall see in all
things, whatever He says to you. And it shall be that every soul .who will not
hear that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people. Yes and all
the Prophets from Samuel and those who
follow, as many as have spoken, these days."
Now let us move to Al Kitab ul
Barnabas (The Book of Barnabas) in the chapter called The Comforter: Then said the
priest, "How the anointed one shall be called, what sign shall reveal
His coming? Isa answered, "The name of the messiah is admirable, for Allah
Himself gave him the name when he created his soul, and placed it in celestial
splendor, Allah said: Wait Ahmad, for thy sake I will create paradise, the
world, and a great multitude of creatures, whereof I make thee a present, in so
much that who shall bless thee, shall be blessed and who shall curse thee shall
be cursed.”
"When I shall send thee
unto the 'World, I shall send thee as my Apostle of Salvation, and thy word
shall be true, In so much that heaven and hell shall fail, But thy faith
(Muhammad) shall never fail. Ahmad is his blessed name. Then the crowd lifted
up their voices saying; Oh Allah, send us thy Messenger. Oh Ahmad come quickly
for the Salvation of the world.”
The following verses of the Last
Testament (The Holy Qur'an) deal with Mustafa Muhammad Ibn Abdullah, The
Comforter- and Seal of The Prophets (PBUH):
And remember, Jesus, The Son of Mary, said: "O
Children of Israel!
I am the apostle of Allah (Sent) to you confirming The Law (Which came) Before
me, and giving Glad Tidings of and Apostle to come after me, Whose name shall
be Ahmad.” But when he came to them With Clear- Signs, They said, "This is
Evident sorcery!"

Question: Who is the Rasul Allah?
Answer: Muhammad Ibn
Abdullah (Mustafa Muhammad Al Amin)
In Arabic Muhammad means "One
who is Worthy of Praise or one who praises.” The Prophet Mustafa Muhammad Al-Amin
(PBUH) was visited by the Angel Gabriel (SRA) at the cave called Mount Hira
in the year 610 AD where he received the first five verses of the Holy Qur'an,
Sura 96: l-5:
اقْرَأْ
بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ {1}
1. Proclaim! (Or Read!) In (With) the name of thy Lord and
Cherisher who created
خَلَقَ
الْإِنسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ {2}
2. Created man out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood:
اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ {3}
3. Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful
الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ {4}
4. He who taught (the use of) the Pen
عَلَّمَ الْإِنسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ {5}
5. Taught man that which he knew not.
(Sura al Alaq (Degree of the Clot) Holy
Qur’an Yusef Ali Translation 96: 1-5)
Four years later some of the
Muslims made a migration to Abyssinia from Mecca. They only stayed there 2 months; this
is in a sense a lesser migration. The major Migration came in the Year 622 AD
and this migration is called Hijra or
flight. In this migration the Muslims moved form Mecca
to Medina. When
the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) settled in Medina he
immediately established Al-Islam and the Muslim Government (Kingdom of Allah).
by setting up the Five Pillars of Faith (Khamsi Shahadatin):
1. Tauheed (Oneness
of Allah)
2. Salat
(Prayer, 5 times a day (Fard)
3. Zakat
(Charity 2.5% of income annually)
4. Siyam (Fasting,
especially in the Month of Ramadhan)
5. Hajj
(Pilgrimage to Mecca,
at least once in ones lifetime if at all possible: Major pilgrimage (Fard)
and minor pilgrimage or Umra (Nafl: recommended but not mandatory).
The 5 prayers, 5 senses, 5 pillars
or purifications, each one is a symbolic ablution. At the 2005 Ramadan session
the Imam mentioned how everything we do in our religion, every act is designed
to purify us. So when we literally do ablution we purify ourselves physically
and symbolically, wipe our hair (knowledge) etc.; when we give in Zakat we
purify ourselves; when we pray we are purifying ourselves; when we fast, when we
behave morally and decently - we are purifying ourselves. Prophet Mohammed
(PBUH) said matters are judged by intentions. Allah (SWT) says "I do not want for you hardship, but I
want that you to be purified." (Taharah) is purity on the highest
level.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammed the
late leader of the Lost found Nation of Islam in the west and the father of
Imaam W. Deen Muhammed has stated the following concerning Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH) in his teachings over the years: "The Qur’an is the root of
Muhammad." The Qur’an verifies and expands on the Bible’s truths. So, the
truths of the Bible are inseparable from the truths of the Qur’an.”
Question: Who Was the Scepter Bearer?
Answer: Hadrat
Bilal Ibn Rabah.
Allah says in the Qur'an that he
has sent a Warner to every people on this earth. The last Warner was the
Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abdullah and He was born in Mecca
(Arabia) in 570 AD. Muhammad is a direct
descendant of the Prophet Abraham through his first son Ishmael.
'I will raise up
for them 'a Prophet like you from among their brethren and wi11 put My words in
His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him.
(The Torah:
Deuteronomy 18: 18)
The scepter shall not depart from Judah, or
a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh
comes; and to Him shall be the obedience of the people.
(The Torah:
Genesis 49: 10)
It was by way of Hadrat Bilal (HWON)
that the Scepter of Prophethood, long held by the tribe of Israel was
passed to the Prophet Muhammed the last and seal of the prophets. Bilal was
born of the Danakil tribe and resided in the land
of Ethiopia (Al-Habashi or Abyssinia) he was a Falasha or Hebrew. Bilal’s father was
named Rahab and he was very learnt in the Torah. Hadrat Bilal came from a very spiritually
enlightened family, they knew of the prophecy in the Torah concerning the
coming of the Rasul (Messenger) who would be like Moses. Hadrat Bilal
had been captured while in Arabia and forced
into servitude by a mean and cruel taskmaster he was not born into slavery.
Bilal being a Hebrew Israelite or Falasha was very excited when he began to
hear the cry of the Prophet Muhammad that there was only one God.
He was ecstatic that the promised Shiloh had finally arrived on the scene. Bilal’s master
became very angry when he would hear Bilal (HWON) chanting Ahad (One), and he
would punish Bilal severely. Bilal was finally freed by Hadrat Abu Bakr As
Sadiq (HWON) and he went on to become one of the Prophet’s closest companions
as well as the custodian of the Baitul Mal (Bank) and the Mu’addhin of the
Prophet’s Mosque.
In a Jumah Prayer Khutbah at a
Masjid in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1979 or early 1980 Imam
Warith Deen Muhammad (W. Deen Mohammed) said: “Prophet Muhammad preached the universal religion and universal dignity
of the human being. He had to demonstrate that. And his best demonstration of
that was Bilal. He got Bilal. And he said, ‘Bilal, call the people to prayer.’
To tell them what? “This man is not backwards spiritually, I make him your
leader. This man is not backwards in this knowledge that I’m giving you, this
new religion. This man represents the best. I make him the one who calls you to
worship, calls you to your responsibilities for personal development and for
external development.”
Prophet Muhammad ibn Abdullah (PBUH)
is reported to have said when asked about Hadrat Bilal that we are all Bilal
(HWON). “That tells us whatever Bilal
represented; it’s common to all people, no matter what color they are. He meant
we are all original. Original is not your knowledge, you come into knowledge.
Original is not your education, you come into education. Original is not
brainpower, you come into brainpower. Original is the heart, the human heart.
And he was saying Bilal is the correct human heart.” (IWDM, 1979)
-Coming of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)-
Q. Who was the Prophet like Moses (PBUH)?
A. According to the Bible, God said to Moses (PBUH):
“I will raise up
for them a prophet like you from among their brothers, I will put my words in
his mouth, and he will tell them 'everything I command him"
(Holy Bible Deuteronomy
18:18 New International Version)
The prophet described in the above verse must have the
following three characteristics:
- He will be like Moses.
- He will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelite.
- God will put his words in the mouth of the prophet and he will declare what God commanded him.
Let us see which Prophet God was speaking of:
- The prophet like Moses: Some people feel that this prophecy refers to the prophet Jesus, on who is peace. But, although Jesus (peace is upon him and all of God's prophets and messengers) was truly a prophet of God, he is not the prophet spoken of here. He was born miraculously, and finally God raised him up miraculously. On the other hand, Muhammad is more like Moses; both were born in a natural way and both died natural deaths.
- From among the Ishmaelite: Abraham had two sons, Ishmael and Isaac (Genesis, chapter 21). Ishmael became the grandfather of the Arab nation. And Isaac became the grandfather of Jewish nation. The prophet spoken of was to come not from among the Jews themselves, but from among their brothers, the Ishmaelite. Muhammad a descendant of Ishmael is indeed that prophet.
- God will put his words in his mouth: Neither the content of the revelation, nor its form, were of Muhammad's devising. Both were given by the angel Gabriel, and Muhammad's task was only to repeat what he heard" (Word Religions from Ancient history to the Present, by Geoffrey Parrinder, p.472). God sent the angel Gabriel to teach Muhammad the exact words that he should repeat to the people. The words are therefore not his own; they did not come from his own thoughts, but were put into his mouth by the angel. These are written down in the Qur'an word for word, exactly as they came from God. Now that we know that prophet we must listen to him, for, according to the Bible, God says: “I will punish anyone who refuses to obey him” (Good News Bible, Deut. 18:19).

Those who follow
the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),-
in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them
what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits
them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens
and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him,
honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is
they who will prosper."
Say: "O men!
I am sent unto you all, as the Messenger of Allah, to Whom belongeth the dominion
of the heavens and the earth: there is no god but He: it is He That giveth both
life and death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the Unlettered Prophet,
who believeth in Allah and His words: follow him that (so) ye may be
guided."
(Holy
Qur’an 7: 157-158 A. Yusuf Ali Translation)
-The Gospel of Barnabas, Chapter 163-
Jesus (PBUH) went into the
wilderness beyond Jordan
with his disciples, and when the midday prayer was done he sat down near to a
palm-tree, and under the shadow of the palm-tree his disciples sat down. Then
Jesus said: 'So secret is predestination, O brethren, that I say to you,
truly, only to one man shall it be clearly known. He it is whom the nations
look for, to whom the secrets of God are so clear that, when he comes into the
world, blessed shall they be that shall listen to his words, because God shall
overshadow them with his mercy even as this palm-tree overshadows us. Yes, even
as this tree protects us from the burning heat of the sun, even so the mercy of
God will protect from Satan them that believe in that man.'
The disciples answered, "O
Master, who shall that man be of whom you speak, who shall come into the
world?" Jesus answered with joy of heart: 'He is Muhammad;,
Messenger of God, and when he comes into the world, even as the rain makes the
earth to bear fruit when for a long time it has not rained, even so shall he be
occasion of good works among men, through the abundant mercy which he shall
bring. For he is a white cloud full of the mercy of God, which mercy God shall
sprinkle upon the faithful like rain.'
